They say that prayer changes things, but does it REALLY change anything? Oh yes! It really does! Does prayer change your present situation or sudden circumstances? No, not always, but it does change the way you look at those events. Does prayer change your financial future? No, not always, but it does change who you look to for meeting your daily Needs. Does prayer change shattered hearts or broken bodies? No, not always, but it will change your source of strength and comfort. Does prayer change your wants and desires? No, not always, but it will change your wants into what God desires! Does prayer change how you view the world? No, not always, but it will change whose eyes you see the world through. Does prayer change your regrets from the past? No, not always, but it will change your hopes for the future! Does prayer change the people around you? No, not always, but it will change you - the problem isn't always in others. Does prayer change your life in ways you can't explain? Oh, yes, always! And it will change you from the inside out! So does prayer REALLY change ANYTHING? Yes! It REALLY does change EVERYTHING!

How I felt today
Hey, Today i met one of my old friend after a long time. We both are together since a long time. She has seen many ups and down in her personal life. She is divorcee, having a daughter of 9 years.Today in general we are discussing about life and marriage , and suddenly she told about men who are there in her life. One who is just telling her that he will marry and she is just waiting for that day to come, but as usual you know the Hindu mentality how it will be if a boy or girl want to marry in lower caste or to the person who is also a having a child, so just the time is passing by in her life talking only on phone everyday. One other side there is one other friend of her, same caste ,working in good position , handsome looks with salary loves her very much, But the sad part is he is lame. Girl do not want to marry him just because she thinks he is handicapped. This suddenly gave me a stroke when I learned that she wants create a impression where if she walks people should admire them and not pity them. I was wondering not because what she told,because i myself is handicappe. After she left i was sharing this thought of her with one of my besty, and guess what was the reply. Yes marriage is something a status symbol, infact wife herself is a status symbol. what you all think about it?

Are we leaving our life for ourself
Hi,
This thought came today in my mind, and I was thinking are a giving ourselves enough time, are we spending money on our ourselves, mostly i think answer will be NO. Like we always carry so much responsibility on our shoulders that we just forget to give time to our ownself.We earn, we spend before the month ends the pockets is nil. We always think about our family and day to day expenses, but what about our own,each time we just think i want to get this of my family , i have to pay this and that, i have to pay my bills and what not ...
We always think about other, but not for us... I think we are not responsible for what people think about you.But we are responsible for what you give them to think about us.

Never quit
I have read story long time back, which is still making to walk strong and helping me to gain strength in my day day life.
One day I decided to quit.... I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality. ...
I wanted to quit my life.
I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"
His answer surprised me...
"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
"Yes", I replied.
"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them.
I gave them light. I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor.
Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.
In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed.
But I did not quit on the bamboo".
He said. "In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed.
But I would not quit.
In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed.
I would not quit."
He said. "Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.
Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant.
But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 Feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."
He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots. I Would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. Don't compare yourself to others."
He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the Fern, yet, they both make the forest beautiful."
"Your time will come, "God said to me." You will rise high!"
"How high should I rise?" I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can?" I questioned.
"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."
I left the forest and brought back this story.
I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you........
So we all are here to fight and take our life on the path which God has made for us without loosing hope and patience.

Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the records of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against tomorrow. You must live in the present -on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness and success!

Hi, today i was not able to able to take a decision today and suddenly while surfing i came across this quote and believe me it worked so well----------when faced with two choices, simply toss a coin, it works not bcoz it settles the question for u, but bcoz in that brief moment when the coin is in the sir, you suddenly know what you are hoping for.
Today i have also realized one more thing in love there should not be jealousy, which really makes our life like killing our own feelings , emotions, inner happiness just because the person to whom we love does not like it, which is really wrong, for me love is giving a needed space, trust and believing that love will never go anywhere else it so well said by someone that -------- "Jealousy is a disease, love is a healthy condition.
